Everyone Can Compose! You don’t need to be Bach or Beethoven to create your own music. In this workshop, composer Remy Alexander takes you on an imaginative journey into your own creativity. Since the festival’s theme is wood, he will use appropriate instruments and objects.
A message from Remy to the participating children: “With an arsenal of wooden planks, beams, and sticks, we’ll explore the incredible range of sounds this beautiful material can produce. Together, we will tap, knock, and scrape to create rhythms and melodies. As a group, you’ll craft a musical piece that will premiere at the end of the workshop for parents and the audience.”
The workshop concludes with a short presentation at 2:00 PM, where other festival visitors are welcome.
