Crowdfunding succeeded!

For the summer edition on 29 June 2019 we will offer two young composers the space to write new work for a special performance in the middle of the dunes in Scheveningen. Several of you made this possible by donating to our crowdfunding campaign! Check out this crowdfunding on Voordekunst.

Curator Saskia Lankhoorn chose two promising composers who, besides creating their own musical world, are also involved with the world around them: Anna Korsun and Maxim Shalygin. Korsun and Shalygin are both from the Ukraine. They are promising, powerful in their personality and very contrasting in their musical expressions.

Maxim Shalygin‘s work will be performed at the Zuiderstrandtheater on June 29 at 4 p.m.
The work of Anna Korsun will be performed on June 29 at 6:15 pm in the Celestial Vault in Kijkduin.
