Today there is a tendency to emphasize cultural differences between people. In this edition of Festival Dag in de Branding we do just the opposite: we emphasize bridging differences.

The physical distance enforced by corona is central to Ezequiel Menalled’s project; horn player Kliphuis and pianist Duda investigate the connection between the distant Baroque past and the contemporary sound universe; Peter-Jan Wagemans connects jazz and modern classical; and finally, in Toonzetters twenty young composers each contribute their individual voice to form a polyphonic palette together.
