Composer Petra Strahovnik uses music, sounds, performance art, video and electronics to paint the implications of afflictions such as ADHD, anxiety, depression and bi-polar disorder. She confronts her audience with the inner world of a person who is forced to walk a different path through life than most of us. Can we find it in ourselves be emphatic and redefine our concept of ‘normal’?
Through the Looking Glass is a series of five pieces of which four will be performed in Festival Dag in de Branding. The pieces are continuously performed by Modelo62 in Zaal 3, Studio LOOS, DCR and the Rewire office and you can determine the route yourself.
Through the Looking Glass is part of disOrders, a two year project by Petra Strahovnik and Modelo62 around mental health.
