Edition 54

Meriç Artaç, who is artist in residence at Festival Dag in de Branding this year, is a composer whose work maintains a direct relation with what’s happening in the world around her. In this edition she again confronts her audience with key current topics. She takes us along the 100th anniversary of women’s right to vote in our country, asks our attention for the plight of people with mental illness, and examines the impact of terrorist attacks. Meriç Artaç presents music that holds up a mirror to society.
