Cellist Maya Fridman and electronic musician LudoWic join forces in the programme XILIIN: a confrontation between contemporary classical music and dark electronic noise. Sometimes the combination of cello, voice and synthesiser results in ‘ambient’ music, whilst other times rhythms take precedence. The musicians’ concern for the environment is subtly incorporated into the music: they have taken some of the data underlying sustainable solutions and transformed them into musical parameters.
